Adoption Time Line

October 2005 - Attended Information Meeting at Bethany Christian Services. Submitted our names to the wait list to be in the Domestic Adoption Program.

January 2006 - Received a phone call from Bethany that we could enter the Domestic Adoption Program.

February 2006 - Summer 2006 - Worked on paperwork

September 2006 - Homestudy was completed

October 2006 - Submitted Family Profile book to be shown to expecting parents considering adoption for their baby.

November 2006 - Situation #1 - Profile shown to expectant mom. Not chosen.

May 2007 - Situation #2 - Profile shown to expectant mom. Not chosen.

July 2007 - Situation #3 - Profile shown to expectant mom. Not chosen.

August 2007 - Situation #4 - Profile shown to expectant mom. Not chosen.

September 2007 - We reach the one year wait mark. We update our homestudy and continue our wait.

January 2008 - Situation #5 - Profile shown to expectant mom in Maryland. Not chosen.

February 2008 - Submit New & Inproved Profile book

March 11, 2008 - Chosen by C & E for baby due in early April. Pre-birth meeting set for March 20th.

March 19, 2008 - Dayne J Thomas born at 7:18pm

March 20, 2008 - Meet Dayne Day!

March 21, 2008- Bring Dayne Home!
